22i over the years. What are e differences?

Looking at a 2006 22i. Are there any major differences between 06 to 09 that I should look for? I know they went to alpha z tower in 2009. Any hull changes? Vinyl changes? Throttle by wire? Dripless shaft seals? Tower changes (besides the alpha z)


Thanks, just want to make sure I don't get something 1 yr before something super awesome came out or something bad got fixed

The only one that I can answer is the dripless. It was there in my 2004.

I think the only differences are towers, graphics, vinyl, vision air chair and maybe the engine (I'm not sure when the switch to PCM took place).

Nothing on the hull or interior layout has changed.

I don't think they have been selling many of them since the V-drives are now the preferred design.

I know that my dealer will not carry any spec 22i's and will only place customer orders.

My buddy Dave has the '05 20i. Awesome boat. He ballasted it up real nice. It surfs and wakeboards amazingly. The interior arrangement is very unique and functional as well.
