22i Jump Seats

I'm looking to go from a 98 2200V to a later model 22i. The thing that would sway me over is if I could somehow put jumpseats on the sides facing the rear. The other side seats don't look too functional. Anyways, how do y'all like the seating arrangement in your 22i?

All the seats are functional and surprising the side angle seating is not uncomfortable
I fell in love with the interior when I first seen it, my kids and everyone else also love it.

Best seating arrangement in any D-Drive in my opinion. All of the seats in our boat get used over the course of the day. Those side seats end up being the staging area for eager riders. The seat on the back of the engine is awesome to spectate from. The bow is large enough to fit 4 decent sized kids while we meander out to the main part of the river and while we blow up tubes, etc.

Overall, it is great to have so many places to park it in a D-drive.

This is my first boat so obviously my first D drive and 22i. I recently purchased a 2002 and we love it. We have 5 kids so there's always a big crowd with us even if it's just our family. We needed the extra seating. There is not a bad seat in the house. The side seats are perfect for smaller people and even if for an adult they're not that bad. I've sat in them many times. 22i is a great boat with the best seating arrangement of any D drive in my opinion.

We've owned a 22i since 2005.

It definitely has great sitting arrangements for a DD.

The side lockers are actually quite large.

When we are on one of our long hauls (most recent from Vancouver to Lake Powell) I can fit four wakeboards and two surf boards (Broadcast 5.6 and Inland Surfer Sweet Spot Camo) inside the two lockers. The IS Camo is a pretty fat board. I can also fit all the boots and ropes in there too.

Sitting on the dog house facing forward is one of my favourite spots when we are heading out somewhere and I'm not driving. Just make sure you are not straddling the pylon in case of a sudden stop.

Also because it is a DD it handles great and turns on a dime when you have the taps all the way down.

The downsides are 1) the dog house does get in the way when the boat is full and everyone is trying to move around; 2) because it is a DD you really need to sack it out to get a good wakesurf wake - fortunately you can fit a 500lb sack in the side lockers but even then we usually need to add more sacks on the back seats; 3) it doesn't have built in ballast (at that time Tige was still stuck on its we do not need ballast with TAPS and convex hull bullsh*t motto).

Because we are wakesurfing a lot more, the thought of trading our 22i in for a RZR with built in ballast is appealing.

Sweet. I have my eye on an 06, great shape, low hrs for $26.5k that I am thinking about pulling the trigger on. What I really want is one with an alpha z tower but that will run me another $15-20k. Thanks
