Those are tubbies (speakers) on the tower. I have the same ones. They will get sound back to the rider, but just.

I'd advise to practice maneuvering after launching your boat. D-Drives handle very differently; especially at slow speeds and in reverse. Just remember if the prop isn't turning, your steering capability will be non existent and in reverse, the boat will only drift to the right.

Take it slow and easy.

The stripes are gel coat. We love the graphics and colors. We put about 6 hours on it this weekend and it handles like a dream. The direct drive definitely takes some getting used to when docking or backing, so I need to practice, but everything went great.
