    Prop for 1997 2150i

I have a prop that is damaged and I am looking to purchase a new one. I want a big wake but am not sure which prop I should get. Any suggestions? I would like to get a brass / 4 blade but not sure which pitch to get.

Ps - I am going to get the current prop rebuilt for a spare.

    Thanks!

I also have the 97 2150. I just went through this with ACME Propellers. First I did a benchmark test with my current prop. Boat unloaded, wide open throttle (WOT). Noted my max RPM. I was only turning 4200. My suggested range on the air cleaner is 4400-4800. In my case I needed to raise my RPM. They suggested a 515 and my dealer (Tige Corona) recommended 653. I purchased the 653 I will installed it and was pleased with it's performance. I never had a chance to check the new RPM range because the boat was always loaded last trip @ Powell. There is no question the ACME 3 blade CNC is the way to go. It is just a matter of getting the size and pitch for your needs. The only ballast I use is natural.

Team Allen, Thats so crazy! I ended up going with the 515 at the advice of Tigewatersports and ACME and the results are incredible!! I think my speedos are way off though because with myself and a cooler I get to about 44mph at 4200 rpm's. I have only done it once because our local lakes are 35mph and with the kids thats more than enough.
BTW I hope Powell was great!! We are definitly planning a trip for next year.
