What is this?

my apologies for starting new threads for every topic. Im used to other forums that suggest new threads for new topics... if im doing it wrong.... sorry and someone tell me.

What do i have circled in the picture beside the gas cap? There are 2 on each side of the boat.

looks like the vent for the gas tank.

my first thought too however there is another on this side of the boat up by the driver and 2 others on the other side directly across from these.

What youu have circled is the fuel tank vent. If you have dual fill, then you will have one for each fill.

If its below the rub-rail, its a thru-hull drain for the bilge pump or ballast system

Figured it out. they were definitely not vents as on the inside of the boat, they were just open holes. I was shopping for some other items and stumbled across these. A previous owner likely installed them as fenders locks.
