    leaning tower

I have a 2000 21i, my boat leans to the right and the faster I go causes it to lean more. I beleive the prop rotation causes this, is this true, is there any thing I can do about it?

Do you have dual batteries? This may sound strange but on the newer 22V's that came from the factory with dual batteries they lean to the right. The batteries are placed in the back far corners of the boat and for some reason the right side one cause the boat to lean more to that side, it can be fixed under warranty on the newer boats per my dealer. Here is the recent thread regarding this leaning problem.

I have dual batteries and both batteries are in the left side of the rear compartment. My boat is a 2005 22V that was delivered in April of this year.

Don't think i am trying to be smart or anything here, but... how many other people were in the boat at the time? With just you in the boat, it is to be expected for it to lean to the right side, since that is where you are sitting.

Try balancing out the weight once (put someone close to your own weight on the passenger side), and see if the problem goes away.

I also have a 2000 21i and weight balance is important...the hull design makes this a neccesary evil. I don't think your propr rotation has anything to do with this....you should have a left hand rotation (that's why the boats rear pulls to the right in reverse).

If you are balancing the weight in the boat then I'm not sure man...maybe get a couple fatties on the left side of the boat

raythompson - They changed it in 2005.

not that it really matters, but all the 2005's we received with dual batteries had one on the left, one on the right.

Actually, it does matter. When I added a second battery to my boat, the guys at the Ski Dock said I should locate it on the opposite side from the other one because it would affect the balance.
