RPM's Drop back to idle RPM

I have a 2008 20i that occasionally will loose rpm while just cruising (7-20mph) The boat does not stall. Put it back in neutral and everything is fine. Anyone come accross this?

Some of the ECMs have interesting error code responses. Our Tige would go into idle only mode when the engine temp reached 165 degrees. Oddly enough the problem had to do with a malfunctioning speedometer sensor. We had the ECM reflashed and that solved the problem. Take it to the dealer and have them check for engine error codes.

Do you have Perfect Pass engaged.

This will sometimes happen to us when I forget to turn off the Perfect Pass and try to accelerate beyond the set speed.
