wake size

I have a 98 Pre 21 I and am very happy with it. Like all "stick" guys I am looking for the smallest softest wake I can get. I have already gotten rid of all extra weight and was wondering if any one had tried to replace the Taps plate with a longer or wider plate?

Sorry for the delay, what kind of guy puts up a post and then goes on vacation for a week? I am running a 13X13 four blade bronze prop.

have you tried putting some spacers between where the TAPS ram attaches to the plate? that will extend the downward range of the plate- however, talk to your dealer before changing it- since making the plate go lower will put more thrust on the transom and the ram itself.

or.... you could get a WAKEBOARD!! hehe j/k

Maybe an ACME 3 blade propeller would help.

Man I'm running a 13 x 13 OJ and with the taps at 4 the wakes are awesome.
