Hello all,
There's got to be a better way. I'm looking for advice on reinstalling the bow cushions of my '98 PRE2100WT.
I removed the cushions, which were originally installed with screws (similar to drywall ones) through the seams between the foam. The gray primer dots in the bow are where the screws went through the stapled vinyl, plywood, and into the fiberglass. It was done this way because there is no access to reach around behind the fiberglass like there is in the rear of the boat, which uses bolts anchored in the plywood that are attached using panel washers and bolts.
Any advice on an re-installing using bolts instead of screws? The only idea I have so far is cutting a speaker hole in the foam and plywood that lines up with one of the holes in the fiberglass. I'm not double jointed, so I doubt whether that would work.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
