I am changing my steering cable. Would like confirm that I need a 17 foot. Does any one have the exact # I need to order the new cable and any tips on the reinstall?

I just replaced mine the other day, 03 21i. Mine had a 21' cable in it so that is was I put back in, ssc13421 or upgrade to ssc15421. I would check the original number on your cable though, it is on the cable either near the rudder or under the dash. Just lift up the floor panel behind the engine box to access it. This job took me an hour. There are several great write ups in the how to section. I used this link here since it was my exact boat.
