    1999 22I INFO

I AM GETING READY TO PURCHASE A 99 22I, HOPEFULLY SOME OF YOU CAN GIVE ME SOME PROS AND CONS SO I CAN MAKE THE DECISION BY THIS WEEKEND. THE BOAT IS REALLY CLEAN. ALSO WHAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED A LOT OF HOURS FOR A 1999 BOAT.
    THANKS FOR ANY HELP

I bought a 1998 2100i last fall it has 163 hrs. I live in Maine so we get less boat time . I am very happy with the boat.

100hrs. a year is the industry average. we usually see about 30hrs. max a year.

I sold my 1997 Pre2150WT this spring and it had 216 hours on it. The boat was really clean and well maintained, I was able to get 20K for it. I think a good maintenance record is what you need to look at. Just because the boat looks good cosmetically it doesn't mean it was maintained properly. If everything is in line you will enjoy boating on your new Tige, they are great boats.

so what do you think about a 1999 with 300 hours on it. Is that consider a lot of hours? how many hour can you put on the motor?

besides the mudd holes in our area the closest body of good clean water is 250 miles away. when you and the other 10,000 boats finally get to the water, it is too crowded to ride so everyone just floats and drinks. can you imagine buying a $50k+ raft? when i buy a boat it will probably be a tige without an engine just a big *** stereo and a wetbar

i've seen the mercruiser 350mag carb. go 4500hrs. the only reason they both died is they were over heated and cracked the heads. they were in 2 tiges that got abused for 3 years at a ski school in lake elsinore.

Wow...thats insane. I think I put 30 hours on my boat in a few weeks.

HB.FAB.CO, I sold my 01 23V with about 340 hours on it. I personally dont think that is a lot of hours for a 99.

HB, we put 100 hrs last year on our 2004 22i............

                      300 hrs, for a 1999, is a good deal...............

just be smart, check it out thoughly and get a test drive at a local lake...........

I bought my 98 pre 2100wt for 20k 330 hrs. kenwood 2-12's 6- 6.5's 800watts phat budde tower clean interior swim deck is beautiful. runs strong. The only damage is from me(it's my first boat). When I trade up I'll definitly Buy Tige'.

                            hours

I live in Michigan and I'm a soccer coach. We don't usually get time or the temperature up here until Late June. And it's packed up for winter by late September. I've had my 2150 since 1997 and I have 275 hours on it. It's hard to justify our toys, but they last a really long time!!
