    surfin on a 03 21i

just bought a 03 21i...has 60 hours on it and was the floor model in its time. The owner used it one year and had it in heated storage for 4 years. It is like a brand new boat. Any way I just tried it out and the wakeboard wave is not bad...any ideas on a ballast system? Need to go surfing and I want a ballast system hardmounted and plumbed in to the switch on the dash. There is an extra gauge on the right hand side of my dash that I am thinking that is for the ballast?? I am up in BC canada

talk to SPBfan. he and I designed a system that works great. I had a 03 21I. Great boat, and you can get a MEAN Surf wake if you want and the right weight. I have a picture somewhere around here I'll try and find.

    Welcome to the board BTW!

Where and what were you using for the "mean" surf wake? may save me a lot of trial and error...I have a couple 400 pounders left over. I was going to try them in a few different spots...

Since you have a couple of sacs already, I would use those to figure out what kinda weight you will need and where it needs to be. From there, you can then figure out whether you can go with a std sac or will a custom be needed in order to to the necessary ballast and have it out of sight.

I recommend the ONeil Boost drysuit!

I loved it when I used it.
