Lexan or Plexi Wind dam Insert

I have E-mailed Tige' and have gotton no response for 2 weeks. I was wondering if someone could show me pictures of the Lexan wind dam installed by the factory. I ordered one from my dealer and they installed it, and I think they screwed up the job. Now i have holes in the fiberglass to deal with if I want to move it. Can any one help me out.

They put it up in the walk way under the window. But the lexan piece has a bend or angle in it at the top. The window has to be shut first because the bend comes over the top of the bottom of the window. I would realy like to see some factory installed pic. I would post a pic if I had my boat. It's at the dealer stil beacause of a leak they can't find. I'll post pic's as soon as I get it back.

As you can see the windscreen must be in place BEFORE the window is closed.

The angle faces towards the stern.

The window closes and rests against the screen to keep the wind and water out.

Yeh, they screwed it up. There coment for the instalation was they thought the lexan over the window would keep the air from coming in between the window and the lexan. And they thought it would rattle. I will stil post a picture when i get my boat back. Thanks for all the help. Sure is nice to talk with fellow boat owners of the same brand.

Make them fix it.

A good dealer will fix the holes so that you won't notice them.

They should have known better than to put it backwards.

They charged me $249.00 and $40.00 labor to screw it up and install it wrong

Make the dealer fix it!

I have a bimini with no tower on my 2001 2100V Ltd.
The dealer installed the bimini too far forward, so that when it was down
you couldn't sit in the front seats facing forward.
Their B.S. explanation was "we had to put it there so you could open the center window without hitting the bimini top".

I got them to move it back so both could be done.
They were able to fill the holes and touch up the gel coat so I can't even see where they were.

You didn't pay top dollar for your boat to put up with an incorrect install on an accessory!

I may get jumped on for this comment but I'll say it anyways. I love my boat, but I HATE my dealership. I thought my dealership was the only one! What kind of dealership doesn't know how to install a factory accessory? At my dealership I called and asked what type of rub rail is installed on my boat so I could research the cost of replacing it (since I knew they would charge me my left testicle for a rubrail replacement) and the guy acted like I was crazy for thinking there was more than one type of rubrail on the market!!! Anyone who has done any research knows that there are dozens of designs - Shouldn't the service director of a boat dealership know that?!!!! Maybe he just wants me to tow my boat two hours to the dealerships so he can rip me a new one!
