So on my way with stealthcowboy to buy Dakotas boat. After 2 1/2 states of staring at snow and roughly 3 more days worth of looking it, this Cali guy is ready to be home and where not even there yet LOL

Yep came through Casper it was a disaster area. I left Monday around Noon from Southern CA made it to Evenston WY in just over 14 hours, 1 stop for fuel and dinner. Was doing fine till they closed the Fwy. Slept in the truck rotating shifts of watch just case they opened the freeway. Let us through around 10 am got stopped again in Rawlings closed. Got creative with the GPS found some roads less travelled (and plowed) snuck back on the 80 just passed Rawlings. Was sure I was good then got stopped again at (278?) got back on the 80 through Casper/Cheyenne/Hot Springs/Rapid City (getting rest) finish off tomorrow black ice was a rough.

LOL I missed this entire thread....Stealth Cowboy and Thegerman618 are damn good dudes. Definitely an adventurous trip! We buttoned up that baby and they were off last night--last I heard near Amarillo. They will be able to write a song about this adventure when they pull into home.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like bananas!

Driving across TX 200 miles out from "Curkie" cruising, which sounds way better than 983 miles to the house. Dakota is a great dude, sorry to hear we are losing a TO. If your ever in CA Dakata you have my number. It has been a fun trip (so far) with some fun twists, sliding, getting stuck and people wondering what's with 2 Cali guys in South Dakota driving around in the snow with a boat. More to follow, we are finally headed West, Cali or bust!
