Not knowing was killing me so I called service at Waterski America and found out they are 550# each. So far we have learned that filling one builds a better wake for our crew. Till we learn more...

The beach is over past the dam, if you are going to the dam from the public boat ramp it is slightly southeast of the dam and the view from the beach is south, there will surely be plenty of people over there it has become popular. Be careful though and watch for large trees that have become visible, most have been marked with markers, but im not sure if all have been so just keep an eye out and you should be good.
