    Might be trading the 08 rz2 for a 12 rz2.

So I took the wife thru the Tige factory a few weeks back and yeah lets say that was a mistake. All of the upgrades and new bells and whistles got her thinking. So we went to the Ski dock to test out a new 14 just for shits and giggles ya know, another mistake! Well after some talking and thinking on it we decided the new ones are just a bit more of a payment then we want so we looked at some nice newer used ones and I think we may have found a winner. Not too much info on this new boat yet as its on Lake Austin and we havent seen it yet but heres what I have so far.
Old Whip 2008 RZ2 just under 400 hours.

Possible new Whip something like 36 hours upgraded sound system with 1100 lb sacs in the rear on each side and not quite sure what else

Looks like a sweet boat but I like the colors/trailer on your '08 better. That '08 that you have will sell fast!

I say screw it order a new one and get it colored to match your Jeep... The 14 has options that are well worth the payment and then you got the warranty and you can off set some costs with the free maintance for three years

The ski dock is giving me $40k in trade for the 08 and honestly i just cant do a new one thats something like a $800 payment i bet. $580 is already a lot thats a jump from $400 as is.

if this didnt happen so fast I would have put it on the market im sure I could have got at least 45k for it. Maybe I will get the ski dock to sell for me. Not sure yet.

Go look at the market for '07/'08 RZ2's, I bet you can get over $50k for it! There aren't many of them for sale and a lot of people can't afford $85k for a new one.

I agree with Tim I don't think they are giving you much of a deal at all.. Seems like your paying for there next big vacation! Sell it out right!

Another option might be to do a consignment sale. Easier on you because you don't have to deal with all of the lookie loo's, test drives/rides and if someone has a trade-in, the dealer can handle it for them as well. The dealer makes money and you make a little more too. They may/may not offer that option though.

If you sold your boat for 45k. Then waited for the boat show deals next year you would have several months to save up a down payment and order just the options you want. Then it might work out for you.
