Did the '11's still have the ability to store stuff under the cushion's in the bow? That's the one thing I hate in the newer boats, you lose all of the bow storage space because of the ballast system.

I believe 10 and newer are closed in with the factory ballast. My 09 has factory bow ballast but it's just a bag, it's not closed off so it gives me more room for storage just aft of the bow seats than I saw in the newer boats. The Z3 is also closed off in the bow for the factory ballast but I'm not sure about the other models but I imagine they are the same way. IMO it's closing off some storage to make the boats look cleaner and to hide the "magic" of how stuff works, and I don't like it.

Closed off ? The sides are closed off but my bow was simply opened by removing the carpet.. now I keep my anchor there

Thanks, guys! I guess it's only a big deal to those of us that have the space currently.

@ Wicked that is strange, my bow seats are glassed in, with only a small area in the front for a very small anchor.

Congrats! I think you will really like that boat.I keep my lake anchor under the front center bow cushion. My Box Anchor and Shore Spike easily fit under the port center seat. All my 11 life jackets as well as my flippers and wetsuit and heater tops as well go under the observers seat.I store my boat bumpers under the center bow cushion. Also 2 more boat bumpers in the under dash storage on back of the front starboard seat.Surf rope extra bow lines and helmet in the cooler. We use the soft sided cooler for food and drinks since its portable.Rear compartments are for extra stuff like kneeboards and body surf board for our dog Tini.I store my paddle on the port side and use it to protect the rear speaker and cupholders when the port surf bag is fully deployed.Lots of chamois and microfiber cloths to soak up any water in most of the cupholders.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

all i have to say is wow I installed 850 sacs on each side of the boat instead of the 350 and thats one hell of a wake. The stock tower of power setup on these boats sucks a humongous donkey ****. My rev10's got here in 1 day so I threw them up on the tower and moved the rev8's to the middle. that syn2 is not nearly enough so I swapped it with my spare syn 4. I need to figure out how all of these speakers are wired but I can already tell its louder but it was late so I didnt want to dial it in and piss off the neighbors. from the looks of it the tower speakers are tied together so only 1 set of wires for each side that have been split to run 2 speakers each from what I can tell. maybe someone in here can chime in and tell me what to switch up to get the most out of this system.
