Bought a 2008 RZ2 right before the end of the season

We got the boat like this and since owning it have had to put a lot of money into it in order to bring it back to snuff and theres still more to do.

Now since i have had this boat we replaced the bimini with a T-Top, new speed sensor unit, a few new ballast pumps, had the propellor refurbed as it was bent up, replaced the Lumitec underwater LED's as the one was shot, added a 12" rockford fosgate P3 sub and 500w amp and just generally cleaned the crap out of the boat. and here it is as she sits now. Just need to get a few better pics but for now......

I still need a few things replaced such as the taps plate unit, it doesnt read accurately anymore but still works fine, and there are a few minor rips that need to be cleaned up. Aparently this boat was built for a pro wakeboarder back in the day but i dont know the name maybe someone on here knows who or what. Picked it up down in Houston Tx..

Great looking boat! What's with the name? Is there a story behind it? The Kansas Jayhawk sticker's have gotta go too.

LOL the KU stickers are because we are from there and The Phog is Allen Fieldhouse which you have to be a KU fan to know or have lived in the area.

Too Funny! Phag would be NickyPoo's boat.

Had a Cobalt too and up'd to an RZ4. These boats become a lot of work when they hit 5 years....but it's a labor of love...right?

Very appealing boat and love that truck.

Heff, Nice looking ride. I just picked up a low hours (very low) '08 RZ4 and are going through somewhat the same upgrade process.

With MLA's help, I got a rocking (I hope!) stereo system spec'd out including (4) Wet Sounds Icon8s for the tower, a Samson mirror, have to add a complete ballast system from scratch and I need to replace the bimini as I can't fit my rotating board racks with the current bimini. I also am trying to find someone who can fab up a new rear support brace to replace the funky looking "X" rear tower brace on my Xplosion tower shown below (Xplosion is out of business)

Anyway, could you give me some info on your "T-top" bimini?
                            • Do you have anymore photos of it?
                            • Does the frame stay on all the time? (my tower will not be coming down)
                            • Where did you get it?
                            • What are the winning Powerball numbers?

Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head... Eric
