Surfing the storm

The cloud above the surfing picture caught us in this hail storm. Looked like we were in a pot of boiling water. Just around the bend the wind was blowing about 40 mph and we were sitting just off a bluff in perfectly calm water. Sure was scary for a while.

Blew up incredibly sudden on a bright sunny Texas summer day with NO rain in the forcast. Then blew over as fast as it came up, rest of the day was clear and sunny. Isolated storm from the heat. Thank goodness we had the bimini up!
