What do you all use to fill inflatables while out on the water? Is it better to have an inflator that connects directly to the battery or is it fine to feed through the 12v plug? Our tube fits a small family and takes lots of air.

This guy will do better than anything you can plug into the boat

I have something similar to this for my water toys and Babz fenders: https://www.amazon.com/EPAuto-Portab...1437420&sr=8-3
The odd time a tube gets used it gets filled up at home with a shop vac in reverse or a leaf blower.lol.

Leaf blower is a good option, though the battery is one more thing to remember and charge. I’ve been using a blow up mattress compressor plugged into the truck but I’m getting tired of carrying the huge sofa-sized tube down the boat ramp. I have a little battery powered car jump starter/tire inflator but the cfs is too low to fill the whole tube up.

I have been using this cheap thing for years... may have not lasted that long if I used it more than once a year, LOL - https://www.amazon.com/Electric-Port...xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

I use a basic cigarette plug inflator to get 90% filled and then use this K-100 pump to top off. K-100 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001RL7O1O...87GCYRGXFEZGY0
best thing we ever did for inflatables. Works on paddle boards. Tubes. Blow up fenders. Etc.
