After 2 years of renting a 6k lb lift from the marina (for $1900 a year), I finally found one for sale and pulled the trigger...It was installed in the boat house next to ours, so we just moved to it. The new slip has quite a bit more deck space, so the wife put me to work. We had some patio furniture in the back that wasn't getting used, so we moved it all down there. Turned out looking pretty nice.

Thanks Tequila, I've seen first hand the effects of wind out there. You basically have to account for 60-70 mph wind and you will be OK...we can snug things down pretty slick when we leave for the day. Also - i'm down in the land of 30+ foot cruisers and my stuff is definitly not the nicest out there. There's some pretty elaborate setups on that dock.

Very Nice. I can't quite figure where your slip is at in those pictures. My buddy has a black supra on a slip out there as well and we spend a lot of time on it. Its actually located right where I saw you on Sunday. Right in front of the Stewarts Creek point. By the way we finally have some nice weather! This crazy weather we have had the last few months were getting old!

By the way, would you mind PMing me what you spend on that slip? For example is the lift and the slip a separate fee? The wife wants one but I haven't decided if the cost is worth it.Last edited by Matt Garcia; 05-18-2009, 09:24 PM.
