    About to buy a 1999

    Hey All,

I'm about to buy a used 1999 21v. Heck of a deal at 12k and it's in pretty good condition. Has taps, bimini, cover, and interior is in really good condition. I think the boat has been taken care of very well as it's only been owned by one person it's entire life. The only thing that's missing is a trailer. I'll have to find a used one or get one made. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get one?

I'm not very familiar with Tige at all but heard from lot of people that they are sound boats. Anyone have any comments about the 1999 21v? Things I should look for during the purchase process or things I should know about the boat?

thanks and I'm looking forward to all the posts on this site.

I'm in Austin, too. I'd either check with the Ski Dock or go to Magnum Trailers on 620. I have the same year model boat that I bought new and it came with a Roadmaster trailer. I've not had a lot of luck trying to get in touch with Roadmaster.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll give them a call tomorrow and get an estimate on the cost of a trailer. Glad someone else near me has the same boat so I can ask some questions...lol. If all goes well the purchase should go through sometime next week. I'm excited.

Not sure about local dealer support in TX, but these guys make a good trailer:

Road Runner Trailers are out of Lewisville and can make pretty much any kind of trailer. Just call them and give them the type of boat and model and they will fabricate it.

$12K for a 1999 21V? This doesn't involve money orders to sent other countries, does it? Be sure to spend a few bucks and have a qualified mechanic check the engine and drive train out.......

Otherwise, sounds likethe deal of a lifetime!
