What the heck is this switch for?

Ok, so I've had the boat since last summer and never got around to figuring out what this switch is for. So I figured, trace the wires and duh, you should find your answer... right? wrong.
I started at this red switch on the left(the 3-position sw that is partially broken off).
I traced one side to the ignition ("I" terminal?)
The other side I traced along the stbd side until I got to these relays? Under the Stbd gunwale in the engine compartment.
The relays(?) have one set of leads that go to the pos/neg terminals of my main battery. Another set of leads off the relays (?) go to a set of wires that dead end by the stbd removeable bulkhead (one is Orange the other Black)both are just clipped off and swinging in the breeze.

Any ideas on what this switch is supposed to do?

    Thanks

Might have been an old heater control, does the red three position switch do anything? I wonder if a new heater had been put in and now has the new three position switch?

I don't think it has anything to do with the heater. It wasn't connected to anything near the heater. The heater by the way is another story, as is the transom shower.
I think it may be aftermarket, but if anyone has a boat that is near my model year and has those relay looking thingies then I would be interested to see where they lead to.

I definately think that the previous owner installed it. As to what it was... I have no idea but I guess it was important enough to keep.

It definitely has to be the motorized stripper pole switch

Do the wires on the right picture look like speaker wire to anyone else? Could it have been a sub or something?
