If you look closely the guy has the handle bars turned for a couple seconds before the crash and the ski doesn't turn at all. Looks like a broken ski.

Jet skis will only turn with throttle, probably wasn't on the gas.

I think this pretty much defines most jet skiers.

Sad to say, this actually happened to one of my friends' boat! They were out on Seminoe up in Wyoming and a 15 year old girl on a jet ski wasn't paying attention and impaled the jet ski into the side of their 19' Reinnell that was only 1 year old. Luckily everyone got off and noone was seriously injured. The boat sank to the bottom of the lake!

thats why you dont jump wakes in a fishing boat at 80 mph.. totally self inflicted. no sympathy from me. act dumb it will prob get you killed. i have came close a few times and i was acting dumb also. lol

The reason why he didnt complete the spin was because he wasn't edging through the wake.

I never realized that those bass boats rode that far out of the water! Why was he in the water for 10 minutes? Could they not put the camera down and save him?
