    Magnum trailor Brake Issue

    Hello Everyone,

Just something to watch for. I have a 2008 Magnum trailer. When we got to the lake on Saturday we noticed metal shavings around one of the wheels. Upon inspection, we found one of the bolts had come out of the caliper (picture attached). The caliper was grinding the inside of the wheel. I tool it to the magnum dealer and apparently it's a now issue with the loctite they used. Virgil at Magnum trailer in San Antonio was great and took care of it in less than a day. If you have a newer model Magnum trailer, this is something to watch out for.

dude. same thing happened to mine except i forgot about it after i found out and was backing up and my cummings won that war for sure. shattered my brake pads and broke a bunch of pieces off of the caliper.. so i just took it off of that side and mounted it on the square tubing running across the trailer so when i hit the brakes it will squeeze the square tubing and the pistone on the other side will still come o ut. i know its kinda red neck but you dont need brakes behind my truck anyways, lol
