I am almost positive that Tige released the Convex hull in their 2003 line up. So there is not a difference in the hull design between those years. Back then your sticker choice was called Riders Edition or Limted edition. It didnt make the boats any different except for the look of the sticker. The factory tower is different on the 04 boat.

I think they switched model names is the 04 your looking at a switch v?
Being an 03 owner I thought the 03 intereior was better than the 04 as tige marketed the switch models as entry models. The 04 had a different tower than the 03 both were metcraft towers unless the local dealer used thier own tower.
IF it has the merc3350mpi it has a solid motor in it.

Good luck on your purchase and remeber to ride first then buy.

I have a Convex hull, and it's a '99. There have been several changes in the Convex hull since '99. It changed in '03 with the introduction of the 22/V and then again in '06 with the introduction of the 22/24Ve. Then it changed again in '08 with the introduction of the Z1. The RZ hulls are similar to the Ve hulls, but there are some minor differences.

At least that's the way it was explained to me by some pretty good sources at Tige.
