I have a 2002 21v riders edition and noticed my carpet was falling off of the fuel tank cover. I removed it from the boat and brought it inside. I pulled all of the carpet off only to find that it is begging to rot around the edges, the bottom has a skim coat of fiberglass, but the top is raw plywood, would this be covered under warranty??? It is part of the hull?? Isn't it? If not I don't wan't to rebuild it out of wood, any suggestions?

It's not covered by warranty and it's not part of the hull. It should be marine grade plywood. You could try using Penske material. Not sure where you'd find a sheet that big. Mine's still in good shape after all these years and we've used it a lot. My carpet's about worn out.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

Local tige dealer was useless
local tige dealer won't even answer the phone, so I have come up with this, will post pic's when complete. I am going to make a new cover out of aluminum, a plate on top and some u channel supports for rigidity, then I'll contact cement the carpet back on, WOOD SUCKS.
