    Illuminated swim platform

THis popped up on the MC owners website. Looks pretty interesting. Might be worth learning more. You can actually get it in various colors or rotating through them all or control a switch that you can set it to one of several colors.

    Be excellent to one another.

Someone posted those up last year on here. Actually I thought it was you tall...lol.

Aren't they like well over $1K? Or something along those lines for the platform?

Ive been on that boat........ at night The owners name is Justin. He bought the boat from my dealer. He started with a about $1000 piece of plexi and left alot on the floor

The transom storage doors are also frosted plexi. He also layed in a piece of LED implanted plexi on the floor, it lights up like the platform and changes colors.

He had it on display last Summer at out NC reunion but I was too busy to get pics and no one else did for me. He enclosed a slip with black plastic so it was easy to get the feel of the light in broad daylight.

I was actually on that boat at the Tige owners day last summer. It was pretty neat. Seemed just a little slippery to me though.

You could pretty easily get that Acrylic off Ebay for a few hundo. Actually making the platform and embedding lights would not be a difficult task at all. It would be very heavy. Slick, slick, slick too, seems a shame to cover that cool platform with a grip of any sort unless he could find some clear surf board grip or something.

What about silica sand and some clear resin for skid resistance?

I think that would hurt the knees and shred your boards. That's basically sand paper without the paper. It would certainly work for traction though!

That looks awesome! I would totally rock that if there were a way to get a clear grip on the deck.

It will melt in the hot sun and make a mess all over your boat.
