LOL, I just spent about $2k making an aluminum surf deck...

I will make that decision when I see what the cost would be. SPBFan is going to get me an estimate on the sac cost. Either way, I really don't like the idea of getting a 22" wide sac, and shoving it down that 12" wide area.

According to the FlyHigh spec, that enzo sac is also 102" long. I can get 104 on pass/port side, but only 93" on the driver side. And it is 25" wide. My rear compartment is 22.25 inches wide on the bottom, and 25.5 on the top, it is tapered, and the opening to the area under the rear seat is 23" wide.

The enzo sac is also 26" tall in the rear, my compartments are 19" tall in the rear, and 22" in the front. And I def only have 10" of height, forward, and the enzo is 12" high on the arm.

So basically, if I bought 2 enzo sacs, I may save some coin, but I will probably lose it back with all of the vaseline and oil of olay I will have to buy to stuff them in. Not to mention how crappy it will probably look.

For all of you who have done exactly that, and stuffed one of these suckers, please forgive the last paragraph. ;-)

No problem, Rag, we just put the sac in first, then fill it

y, I hear you. Part of the reason I am doing this, is R&D. Working sh*t out, you know? I had a lot of fun making those 3D images and stuff, want to do it right, unless cost is nuts.

Almost two grand for that platform, OUCH.
I don't feel so bad about the expense of my Wetsounds now.
I have a couple Fly High 750's on the way and am replacing my locker hard tanks with them. I thought about going with the Enzo but couldn't talk my wife into it.

Here are a couple of pics and you can see comparison of enzo sac, to my custom 24Ve sac from drivers side.

The aluminum was like 1200 or so, but with time and my dad's time, and the grip, etc etc, I am sure it is close to 2000, not including testing time and stuff, but the actual time to mark, cut, sand, etc. I paid my dad for his time.

                    Hey Ragboy,

I didn't see in your posts, so forgive me if I missed it, but when I had my two custom sacs done by fly high, they could only do two different "cuts". That is, my finger that extends up under the bench seat HAD to be either the same height, or the same width as that part of the bag in the rear locker, I couldn't size down both dimensions...yet alone the three steps you have designed.

                    Has that changed?

Dunnow, I will let you know. I am starting with what I WANT to do, and may have to backup some from there. So did you have to "stuff" your bag in the smaller arm up front?

Looks like you got some sacs built, what was the outcome on the multi-step sac, was Fly High willing to cut that for you?

I'd love to see that sac in place and filled

Just curious why you decided that you didn't like the pop bags? I was planning on buying some but would like to hear your opinion has to why you've changed your opinion.

I think one of the reasons he wanted to get rid of the pop bags because of the lift.
