    Combination pwc/boat trailer

Anybody have experience with a combo trailer. I am considering the purchase of a Tige 22v to accessorize my Kawasaki stx 15fs (two of them). I am looking into a trailer that holds the skis on the tongue. Any thoughts/comments/advice?

    Thanks,

    tj

Several builders are usually at the boat shows.
You can get a good comparison in methods and prices there.

I'd start with Extreme. The 22i is a super heavy boat, and adding heavy PWC's means you need a good quality brand. Not a Shorelander or Trailrite.

Trailer builders are a scary bunch, had to find a reputible one.

Asking wakeboarders about PWC's is like asking mice how they like cats.

I expect if my family has a tragedy on the water it'll involve a PWC.

I called Extreme and they said it was more trouble than it was worth to combine them, although they do build them. He recommended I talk to some people that already have them and see if they would do it that way again, or just drive two separate vehicles.

If your using a truck to tow your boat, what about something like this?

Those are some pretty big PWC's you got there to mount on the tongue of your trailer....I can understand a stand up ski or something like that...but 2 of those big guys might be a major hassle. I have used a double decker trailer for about 5 years now and its pretty nice...but that is with stand ups....not the sit downs.

You are correct, they are big skis. That is why I don't want to stack them on top. The extreme guy says that you can put them on the tongue, but the problem is you end up with a 35' trailer and that it is hard to move around.

Anybody out there use a 35' foot trailer? Is it too much trouble to maneuver?
