    No Throttle response, Thoughts

Had the boat out last week for the first time of the season(will post pics later). An odd problem developed with the throttle, It worked fine the first day then speratically started becoming non responsive after ideling for short periods such as docking and picking up a rider. Turning the ignition off then re starting the boat solves the problem for a while. The boat will continue to shift into fwd and reverse while the throttle is no responsive.
Any thoughts on what maybe causing this?
    Thanks for your help.

Check the state of charge for the ACC battery, the Throttle-by-Wire systems in 06 would do this if the house battery was low, but was supposedly corrected in 07 but yours could be and early 07.

        Thanks chpthril

The ACC battery needed a 1/4 gal of water and is 2 years old plus we were playing the sounds alot. I bet that is it. I think it is time to change the batteries.

take the cover off the engine, remove flame arrestor, manually move the butterfly several times. Ran into a similar situation with garbage build up from the boat sitting during the winter. Good Luck
