At the end of the last season I noticed that when I punched the throttle to tow someone there was a slight vibration for the first 2 seconds and then it went away. I took it out today and the vibration is longer and has trouble planing out quickly. I took it to the dealer a few weeks ago and they could find nothing wrong with the prop. When I look it seems that the shaft is off the the side of the entry into the hull. Any thoughts? Going to take it back in Tuesday.

This is nothing negative against WWS, I think they are great. I just think Jim's is better for props.

Check your shaft/coupler alignment. It's easy to do with a set of feeler gauges. I don't remember the exact spec, but I think that it's a difference of .008. I'm sure that someone on this site can tell you the exact procedure if I've missed something. It's been a while. All you need to do is loosen the bolts holding the coupler to the prop shaft. rotate the shaft and use the feeler guage to check the alignment. If it's out of whack it would cause your vibration.Indecision may or may not be my problem

If the cup is damaged or bent around the hub or anywhere near the hub the prop is trashed. I have spent a lot of time with one of best in the nation when it comes to repairing ACME props and learned a lot from him.
