Xplosion Towers - gone???

Hey guys is xplosion towers out of business? I'm trying to get ahold of them, but the # on the website seems to be down. And no responded to the PM or e-mail from here.

Check with Chris at Tige Water Sports. They sell their towers on all of their boats, unless specially requested differently. Plus their only about 30 minutes from each other.

The V needs a new tower b/c It got caught on a low hanging power line last night. As did the hood of my truck. Fighting with the power company to make them pay for this and my truck right now. Cable was hanging 5 ft. off the ground on a pitch black road at 10pm.

Risk management guy got pretty snotty with me and said, we're not responsible b/c someone else had to have snagged it and brought it down that low. Whomever that driver is, is responsible. I promptly fired him an e-mail with a pic I took early this morning of the road while on the phone with him. The pic showed the row of 5 seperate lines on this road, all down at a maximum height of 12'5 off the road. Instead of the state mandated 13'6" of clearance. Also included the pic of his guys doing the repairs today so that they couldn't say there was nothing wrong. He kind of changed his tune, and said he'd need to do some further investigation and get back to me. LOL. I'm glad I had the forsight to check the clearance on the rest of the lines that weren't down. Guess the V is getting a new tower.

I was gonna try the samson switchblade, but Samson told me it would sway majorly with a pair of 485's.

I would check with Ragboy re: his switch blade.

I went with the Razor and it is ok with a Pair of Pro60's.

The Razor might be better for speakers than the Switchblade since its billets and frame are shorter and less prone to the speakers causing it to sway. After the e-series tower, the razor is built better and a heck of a lot easier to put up the bimini. Depending on over all weight it is a one person job to take down and put back up.

When are you taking possesion of the 09 22Ve?
Are you taking off the 485's and putting them on the 09?

485's are being kept, and going on the Alpha Z after some customizing...along w/ alot more goodies!!!! There was a screw up on someone's part with the 22Ve last year... so I backed out on the order. It's now going to be an RZ2, I just gotta get around to ordering it. Meant to do it in March... just didn't get around to it.
