I used to have a truck and could put the boards in the bed, now we have an SUV. Does anyone know of any racks that mount to the roof like snow ski's or snowboards? I dont want to lay the boards in the boat as they will slide around and potentially cut up the seats.

My board bag has my board, life jacket, any neoprene, and handle in it.
I also have sat the board on the floor of the boat with the nose of the board under the steering wheel and the board sitting on its side resting on the bindings. Never had a problem with that. Then a second board in the walkway on it's side as well. I would not lay the board down flat on the floor. It's shape is meant to lift up under those circumstances.Be excellent to one another.
