It wasn't the wrong column, it was the wrong row. Besides "Connecting Rod Cap Bolts" and "Main Bearing Caps Bolts" both have the work Cap and both should say F'ing tight.
Were we supposed to use the foot-pound wrench or the inch-pound wrench?

Broke the new engine in tonight on Lake Elmo. Ran it slowly (600-1000 RPM)for 15-20 minutes and then opened 'er up. Sweeeet! I did however figure out I forgot to tighten the water line from the tranny cooler to the engine; that popped off when we were idling around. I figured that out pretty quick as water was running out from the front of the engine cover. Bilge pump works! Ran around the lake for an hour and watched some guys do some boarding and surfing to show my wife & the kids what it's all about.

The old Jeep pulled the boat out of the water just fine in 2wd. I found out the winch is shot; as soon as you put a load on it the gears just skip. So I had to back all the way in to get the boat up to the winch. I just pulled forward inch by inch until the guide posts were out of the water, then past the rub rail, and finally the boat was centered, and pulled out. I figured I was going to be one of "those guys" at the boat landing. Not today.

The stereo is loud and clear when boat is planing and you can still feel the sub too.

We saw another Tige' was out there too; a red Pre2200wt w/ the factory tower. I pulled by and said "Hi".

All in all it was a great evening! Gotta get out again soon!

Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

Just read this post. Glad to hear everything worked out great. I've got just about the same boat (mines a 1995 and doesn't have the big motor) and love it.

Lets see some pictures of it.

Great looking boat. I like the contrast between the light blue and black.

Wonder if the former owner meant for the numbers to be arranged like that!

                    1st... New boat numbers.
2nd... Fresh Air Exhaust. I think I got the OK from my wife today. As long as I keep the boat longer than the last two.
                    3rd... I got a lotta 3rds
