During my first month of tige ownership i tacoed the prop much worse than that, brought it to the dealership and and bought a new prop, and they said they could have it rebuilt no problem, i told them to call me with a quote to rebuild, they sent me a bill for $380, i told them they could have it.

Thanks for all the feedback, new prop came today, swapped it and went out. First, with the old prop, my boat would have a slight vibration between 1200-1500 rpm. Not heavy, but it was there, and always has been. I was told it was normal, and have seen many others speak of it. It didn't bother me, just stayed out of that range. New prop, NO vibration at ANY RPM. On top of that, it JUMPs out of the whole. Huge difference. Its like a new boat. Then I started getting up to 30+ and cranking power turns and it handled more like a 22 footer. Amazing improvement in handling and power. So I crank it up, and I still get up to 41. I maybe lost about 1 mph. Well worth the change, thanks to ACME for the recommendation. I can't wait to try wakesurfing.

This prop is larger in diameter, and the only drawback, is there is maybe 1/2" from the trailer prop guard, very tight.

With that small amount of prop damage, you shouldn't have any other issues. But while you're looking, you could look for cracks in the gel coat around the strut screws. A while back, I hit a sandbar pretty hard, changed the prop, and had the whole underside examined. All was apparently ok, but a while later, they found cracks around the strut screws that went through into the fiberglass and cost a pretty penny to fix (luckily covered by insurance). Again, I can't imagine you'd have those issues with your prop damage, but I thought I'd mention it.

You'll find that your new prop will help the boat hold the speed better at wakesurfing speeds. Glad it worked out!

Dogbert -- The new prop sounds great. What's the model number? Thanks.

Awesome. Probably night and day difference now when surfing. That is what I run in my 23LSV. Much better than our OEM 537. Handles turns so much better and maintains the speed through them.

y, its one reason why I was on the fence. But I would have done first day I got boat if I had tested it.

I bought a spare prop last year, and I think it's the 1235. Sweet. I think I'll switch it out for the next trip, and maybe the 537 will become my spare. Thanks for the heads up.
