I saw pics and video of an X-80 surf wave somewhere (wakeworld maybe?) and it wasn't any different than anything else.
My only thought is that it might let the opposite side out of the watter a little more with only one engine working...

Like I said just a crazy thought.

I always wondered what kind of wake the X80 "really" put out. Some say it's too wide to jump at the sweet spot.

I wonder if with the twin engines you could steer it with putting one in forward and the other in reverse when docking?

That's exactly what you do. Good operators can hold a boat steady in a wind, even.

I have been in a couple bajas with twins and it works well, probably better with the props under the boat

I just found out Tige did not go out of business they have a new location in Mesa, AZ on Gilbert and Main. I made a appointment for Monday to get my boat serviced for the year.

That would be cool, but the girl/guy ratio is messed up. Gotta throw some more "hottie ballast" in that thing.

The best doubles surfing I have seen was both surfers on the same side one behind the other behind an ENZO. That was a cool pic.
