The weather down here has been pissing me off too! Its either been very windy and warm or very windy and cold! The one day of the month where the water was glass and the air was warm I had to work late. Arrghhh I feel your frustration!

The weatherman here just stated this morning that we are averaging 3 degrees below normal and 1/2 inch above normal for rainfall so far in April.


It is supposed to be about 20 degrees warmer today and even warmer tomorrow:



So, that means it is time to take a PTO day and head out for the maiden voyage!

That is some serious wind turbo! I hope they can fix it up quickly.

We are going to see where we can get with Summerset(the manufacturer) and see if it is a warranty item. Not sure yet, but I don't think it happened to any other boats up in dry storage. Plus when looking at some pics that APM sent, it looks like some "bad welds" broke which may have been a factor in the rest of the canopy collapsing.

Like evil0ne said, it snowed in parts of Vegas yesterday. Forecast is that by Monday, highs are supposed to be up into the 90's.

Good news is that I got to go to the Foreigner concert last night. It was at an outside venue called Tuacahn. I bundled up well and had an awesome time, gloves and all. They rocked nicely despite the cold weather. It was in the 40's for the concert.

The best was the 20 minute Juke Box Hero jam session with a little Led Zeppelin 'Whole Lotta Love' thrown into the middle of it.

They really seemed to be having a good time entertaining us, not just there to cash a check and do a job. If you get a chance to see them and like that kind of music, do not pass it up.

I'm feeling ya Tall... 3 weeks ago I skied Sand Hollow 80 degress air 58 degrees water... and then drove home 2 hours north in a blizzard... then went snow skiing in 2 ft of powder the next 3 weekends... this weather is crazy... it's definitely time to warm up...
