AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Weather has got me down.

This spring has been killing me. Weather here is normally like Las Vegas, hot and dry. Makes for good boating 9 months of the year. This spring we have had days that almost approached 90 degrees...when I was working...or when I was at kids' sports event...or when some other commitment made it so I could not go.

I got this new boat and I have had an incredibly difficult time finding time to go ride.

Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. Two days ago it was nearly 80 degrees and dead calm. Today I have seen snow...un - freaking - beleivable!!! We get snow here a few times per year, and now it is here on April 15. Weather will be good again for the weekend...just in time for me to go to my daughter's volleyball tournament in Salt Lake City.

Thanks for the vent...now I feel better.
    Be excellent to one another.

We might hit 50's as high temp and below freezing at night. I have had on water once so far and it was way too cold to get behind boat on any device with a wetsuit. still need drysuit and that I don't have. So we are just checking out different lakes in the area to see what is good in a three hour radius for when we want a change from our home lake.

                  1. I have only gotten two, TWO, sets in this year because it has been windy every single weekend that I have been available to go to the lake since February. Normally at this point in the season I should already have some sort of wake related injury.

                  2. Just got this email. New houseboat that I bought into less than three months ago got hammered by a wind storm. Trashed the top canopy. I haven't even been on the boat yet. I am heading up to Antelope Point on Saturday to start assessing the damage.

                  3. Wind Blows. So much so that I am having shirts made for it. I have 25 on order and should have them by early next week.

It's been like this for us all year. Beautiful during the week and either too cold, too rainy or too windy on weekends.

We need rain, too. Our lakes are way down. If you see some, send it this way!

MP, check out Clinton. I've been told it is about 65 degrees at the cold end, 75 in the middle, and about 85 over by the plant.

That is some serious wind turbo! I hope they can fix it up quickly.
