Thanks for all the information. As I said the boat has the 340hp engine, not sure about the gear reduction (probably 1.46:1 if that was the only choice for the 06 22Ve)
Sounds like the stock 13.5x16 (ACME 537) prop should work fine for general use. A few spring test runs at the local lakes should confirm.
One more question about ballast. Sounds like if I start adding lots of ballast for surfing, I'll need to consider a different prop. Any suggestions?

We ran 1600lbs + peeps while surfing and never had a problem. Boarding was a little slow to plane, but too bad.
