I have a 2008 Tige Z1 located on a lake in south central Florida - love the boat and use it exclusively on a fresh water lake. On my tower, the aluminum brackets that hold my 4 wetsounds speakers on my tower have pitted very badly. They sit under a boat house, but are exposed. What can I do/buy to get them looking new again, Thanks, S

Where is the lake in relation to the ocean? I'm a corrosion engineer. The only time I've seen aluminum pit is near the ocean where the wind from the ocean blows onto the site. Unless you get them anodized or powder coated I don't see any permanent solutions. If you clean them, they will just start pitting again. Might try some chrome plated or 316 stainless brackets if you want the shiny look, or else some plain powder coated brackets.

Yep, start with your dealer first, if they came with the boat at time of purchase, as they will technically be warrantied through Tige or your dealer.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
