    Flowrider Pictures

One of the malls near my work recently opened up a Flowrider and
I finally rode it during my lunch hour and had a blast! It's nothing like riding a wakeboard. You have to keep most of your weight on the backfoot and have to have your chest up and open.

It took me several tries just to stay on the board with the rope. Once I sort of figured it out you can try dropping in from the top, IMO its much more fun this way. By the end of it my legs were spent! Oh...and you will get worked on it!

It's $20.00 for 30 minutes but I think it was worth it.

    Here are some pics...

In the Wisconsin Dells the Kalahari Resort has one that is probably twice as wide. In the morning they have private lessons for $10 (That was 3 years ago). The best time to go is in the morning mid week. We usually take the family there once a year in the Jan. to get rid of the winter blues. I will get 20 to 30 mins in and yes the legs will burn. But it is a blast .
I heard the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, OH has two flow riders.

I always wondered how much one of those cost

What type of set up is it in?

I have been writing a business plan to open some sort of shop based around the flowrider. Andrenalina is currently not opening any other stores in US, so I have been looking at opening up my own similar store and am looking for ideas/concepts.

I got worked on one of those things in Orlando.

I went today during lunch and I was the only one riding so it was nice to not have to wait on anyone. There were a few times I had to pause since my legs were burning! That water is very powerfull though. When I wiped out it moved my heavy *** like nothing! Also the instructor was very helpfull.

Very fun to ride, just need to get the hang of it and figure out how to carve.
