What do you think of the new updates to tigeowners

I agree on the avatar size, I access the site mostly on my iPhone, and scrolling past larger avatars would be a bit tedious.

From the mobile users perspective, and meant a constructive critisism;

Overall, the text is difficult to read, the contrast between the backgrounds and the text makes it blend in pretty bad. This is especially difficult in the forum header "tige owners> general topics> thread"

The black background is great btw, it really makes the pictures pop, makes it so much easier for me to see!


The upper boxes above the username, the one with the date seems too large, again that's a scrolling issue.

The upper header with tigeowners.com and "the official team tige portal" looks like it is out of scale. The font/images could be bigger..in the same size header please!

Thank goodness there isn't any required flash stuff btw!

Btw, overall I like all the new stuff, It is a nice upgrade!

LOVE the change, looks awesome! HOWEVER, I agree with most others as it is fairly difficult to read. Especially the forums page.

Is it just me or did all the font get smaller?

I love it! Love the black! Really compliments the Tige website well.

I can't wait to waste my whole afternoon finding other new things!

Thanks for the great feedback. We certainly agree with some of the points you made about the forum usability. In the next few days expect to see some changes.





Are you all talking about the forum fonts or the fonts on the main section of the site, ie home page, news, etc.?

Ok, my complaint....

The quick reply button is great. But it makes you check the "quote message" box each time. Most of the time when I quote I dont need the extra editing tools that the full post reply screen brings. I just want to type a little along with the quote to the post im replying to.

Playing catchup, so this may have already been asked/answered, but other then the look, what other changes are here.

Site looks good, will take some time to get used to it. Can the contrast be adjusted between the read and unread post under "New Post"?

It looks great Matt. I think if you got rid of the shadow around the "little person" next to the user name (red color if your offline or green if your online)it would clean up that image a little bit.

but like zad said, if we hit the quick quote, why do we still have to hit the box in the quote message in reply box???

Also, is it me, or when you go to see user profile and hit it the stuff doesn't let you access links???

Thanks guys. In the next few days we will work on improving the usability of the forums as well as a few other features within the site.

Just to recap, the site was mostly a redesign since the previous version was more than 5 years old! We did however add a few new features which include:

- Better integration with the rest of the site. ie Polls, Galleries,most recent posts.
- Twitter feed (currently the Tweets only post occasionally. We are working on a fix though)
- Included social media sites
- Increased the Private Message options
- Get your Tigé featured on the home page
- Some minor content updates

Great suggestions. I am taking all of them into consideration.

Also I can't seem to duplicate the issue some of you all are having with the quick reply? Are you all clicking on the Q-reply button to the right or the one at the bottom?
