    New truck

Just picked up my new truck on Friday. I only have one picture because the weather has been real chitty here. First it rained and then it blew 40mph dust all over it. I included a few of the pictures from the seller but I'll get a few soon. BTW, anyone know what the drop for the hitch should be with these new GM trucks? My 2003 Suburban used a 2" but it was way too high for my new truck, From eyeballing it looks like a 4-5" is going to be needed. I'll reserve final towing comments until I get the right ball mount but its first time out wasn't nearly as great as I was expecting.

Thanks for buying American. Your ball height should be around 18" to the bottom of the ball. Measure the distance from your reciever to the ground and subtract 18. That will give you the number for your drop.
Indecision may or may not be my problem

A 4" drop should be about right.

Uhhh, not a truck. Oh, wait. You're a Vegas boy huh? In Vegas, I guess that is a truck. Here in Reno, that's a station wagon.

My Denali has a 5 1/4 drop and it is still a bit high. I think a 6" would be perfect.
