My wife use to get headaches if we where in the boat more then a few hours.
Now she does not, and also when we pull into the dock you notice how badly all the other boats smell.
As far as sound goes, I was get around 97db from driver seat, now I am around 85, and most of that is wind noise. For the wakeboarder, he can hear the tunes even if they are way down due to us talking in the boat.
Tige, it's a way of life!

Seriously though, best thing you can put on a boat. I applaud anyone who has enough sense to put one on.

It does make it tough to ride in other peoples boats without FAE's on them. I pretty much stopped going out on my buddies Ve when he first got it just because of the fumes. Obviously superior boat to mine with far better wakes but, the fumes just killed me after having the FAE on my boat for a few seasons. You don't know what cha got till you aint got it. He came out on our boat for a day after having his for a couple of months and ordered an FAE for his the next week.

I notice the same thing sitting in the rear portion of the cockpit on my neighbor's 21v...it's actually worse there because of the station wagon effect.

Just posted my final pics in the FAE group buy thread. Money well spent don't ever pass this up have one put on your boat if you don't already have it. What a great system.

so what is the right angle?... or is it just about deck spray?...
I tilted mine up to stop deck spray, now it puts a V spray up at
about 25-35. It still fades into the wash but I think that means the
co isn't going underwater I'm okay with that, I just don't know what's
              the thinken here.

CO isn't an issue at higher speeds because there's more air to disperse it in. I don't think it's a problem for you. You notice it most when going at slow speeds.

I put mine about 1/4 inch away from my taps plate when it was extended at its furthest point. I don't get any spray from it at all and it did not move or hit the taps plate so I guess I got lucky firt try.
