ok well i know that you can get the ones that bolt to the tower but i have the 3 some so there really isnt a way to bolt it there so what im wanting to do is take out my rear towing pylon on my 06 22v and build a pole to rplace it. that is easy but the part im worried about is this.. that the rear pylon is only bolted down with like a 3/4 inch all thread shaft and the pylon is like 8 inches tall or less so when i put an 8 foot tall poll bothed the same way is it gonna break the fiber glass when it flexes. i know they pull tubes from that but something that short cant really flex back and fourth like an 8 foot pole.. anh thoughts? i know fiber glass is strong so i think it might br ok but wanna be safe

Just being bolted to the fiberglass aint gonna make it. Is there room underneath to drop it all the way to the floor or even through the floor? Is there access to that floor and underneath it. Ultimately I would think that running a bracket under the floor and stringer to stringer would be the way to go. You get a couple of drunk slu... chicks yanking back and forth on your pole and that thing could snap right off. Seriously though, if you could at least drop through to the floor and do some sort of mount to the floor it might do the trick. Otherwise, I'd say your looking at moving the 485 to the front cross member and putting the pole inside the cockpit. God, it's just too easy to make stupid jokes in this thread. Yeah yeah, pole in the cockpit. You'll get your chance, smart guy.
