I happened to be fortunate enough to attend one of the fan fair trips to the plant, met John and many others. Great group of people in that facility. And he is right they are putting most of the visitors that go, into another new boat. I'm still trying to choose the right color combo for mine.

There is a SeaRay plant right across the water from MC, it was shut down and a ghost town when I visited back in Dec.

For what I understand...the dealers sponsor them and get a small cut. I'm guessing 1K to 2K.

Think about it...MC will only sell 09's at the Dog & Phony show, that means their competing with the dealers who still have ???? 08's laying around. Then they appease the dealers with crumbs.

I'm glad I'm not in the boat retail business, and sure glad I'm not a MC dealer.

The reality is....everyone is going to have to dump their 07's and 08's at a serious loss this summer. If that's the case, expect many dealers to file BK which will worsen things beyond stupid.
