    Wasatch Marine

I really hate to be writing this but the "crappy times" have caused us to decide to close up our New boat sales operations and for now, we are focusing on the service side of things. There are many rumors going around, some are true and some are not. We have gone back to one location (our service on 3787 S. 500 W.). If any of you Tige customers of ours have any questions please feel free to call me (Jason) 801-518-6343.

We are having a massive sale to get rid of a bunch of years worth of "stuff" that we have accumulated and needs be be sold or given away and not moved over to our cramped service location. The sale is at our sales building at 3565 S. Main St. and starts on Saturday.

Thanks to all our customers and the loyal Tige boaters out there. This has been tough for us but we fully plan on making this a good situation for our Wasatch employees and our customers.

Good luck. If service customers were happy when you did work at dealer that folded they still will follow the mechanics before looking for other shop. When the Local MC dealer shut doors 6 years ago the Techs started their own maintenance shop and retained 90% of the customer base in the area. A new dealer opened a new store and although they sell boats he gets most of the new maintenance because they have kept the Mastercraft certification up to date.

Sorry to see this but it certainly is expected to see more of this with the way the ECONOMY is going. Does this mean the Lake Powell Party is off?. I was finally going to get my wife to go there for once and check out the lake. I was using that as an excuse?

One thing for sure BYU still has it colors flying so not all things are bad.

Actually, no, Lake Powell is still a go (we hope). I am not done boating and I REALLY need some good times. We will hopefully still be doing something. I will keep in touch. Don't let your wife off the hook too fast.

Sorry to hear about this, it is however very refreshing to read your positive remarks and attitude about this realignment. Best of luck to your operations and business. Look forward to seeing you back up to 100% next time I come there for some of your great snow skiing.
I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

                          Great Guy!

Jason is a great guy (met him at the boat show) and I have been to their shop once. I'm sure they will still take great care of all of us Utah TIGE boys. I'm an auto dealer and so I know first hand about the whole slowdown - it sucks! It definitely can't get much worse so we're only looking forward to better times, increased sales, and more $$ to spend on our TIGE toys!

                            Hi Jason,

I couldn't make it Saturday for your massive Sale, is it still going on?
What kind of stuff is included in the massive sale?

                              Jwalk,

Good luck with the service side of things. Does that mean that you just won't be flooring boats...or that you won't sell any new boats at all?

Where will your boats currently on the lot go?
                              Be excellent to one another.
