Great Idea. It would be nice if they got some sort of National attention so that this idea spreads because of national exposure. The idea of giving back is something I would try organizing at the compamy I worked for but I don't worh there any more.

I still feel bad re:your boat. I am not home free yet on my situation. I know what my income is supposed to be but until more review is done I am standing in limbo and conserving as much as I can.

I want to put on an FAE but without the income committement I cannot commit to those dollar amounts. I don't want to start a full time search until I know the answer I have been working on since late February. Kinda tired of living on pins and needles. I still will look at a change in remaining career path.

No if I do any thing it will be FAE. Most pleasure for the buck. I want to quite down the exhaust so we can talk and think

We are in radical change mode. Our daughters are grown. One is living just outside of Ft. Collins CO and the younger one is 40 miles away in Rockford. So when we felt like doing something we did it. Now life is in standstill mode. I used to carry a couple of hundred dollars in my wallet so if I wanted to pick up something we did in cash or 0% for 18 24 month best buy purchases.

Now wake up, check email, hit TigeOwners and do something that does not burn gas or chew hole in wallet. My parttime salary would be a lot of money to some. For us it will cover mortage but then it is exhausted. We bought in 2001 a fairly expensive home as a olace to life and gain equity. If I sold it last summer we would have had one heck of an equity check plus funds for a house further west where per sf house are considerably cheaper. Wel all that paper equity has lost 50% from where it was. Time to grin and bear it and deal with taxes again

We live, maybe we can play and then we sleep.

I think many people have been living out of their head. Never thinking about tomorrow. As for me it has been a combination of both. Trying to plan for the future with out short changing the present. We live pretty modest my mortgage is less than a 1k a month but this has been a wake up call for me. I don't think it will end anytime soon either.

Learn from the past
Plan for the future
And live in the present.
