Oh bummer. Was planning on a shock alarm for the boat while on a lift.

what brand of alarm would work on a boat? I'm looking for one for when I'm pulled into a restaraunt or over at a friends house for the night.

I purchased the cheap one - Code Alarm ca100 - It only has shock. I would assume a motion pointed from under the dashboard would work better.
If its not fun, Why do it?

If you speakers have the 4-way Speakon connectors, then get a car alarm with "door open" inputs. Run a pair of 22ga wire up the tower to the plug. inside the can wire from -2 to +2. When the speaker is plugged up, you have a closed circuit, if the speaker is unplugged or the harness is cut, the alarm sees an open circuit, like a door opening, and sounds off. You can do all the tower speakers and add a switch to the console door with one series loop.

Yeah, do you know where I can get one of those car alarms?
